Elephants have had many habitats over the years so let's learn about them! African elephants rome in humid, dry grasslands, deserts, and rain forests. Swamps are also a habitat for all elephants herds. Also in Asia’s tropical rain forests they will roam. In the rain forest some have rainy months called monsoons. But, some deserts have long seasons of droughts. There is many different kinds of weather in their habitats as you can see. Elephants do not care if they like the habitat they just want and need the shade. Some elephants are kept and observed in zoos and now mostly in national parks. Elephants have been kept prisoner when they want to roam free. This is one of many problems. Elephants deserve to live in their own natural habitat.
